Breed: Lurcher

Age: nearly 2 years old

Minimum Donation: £200.

Bertram is a lovely, rather shy but very loving, young black and white Lurcher.  He was abandoned when he was well under a year old and spent 9 months in a no kill Pound.  Sadly, he was kept isolated from other dogs and had hardly any time out and about.  He was taken in from there by a very small rescue and, as soon as he was out of his little kennel and had other dogs to play and learn from, he started to thrive.
He arrived here a couple of weeks ago and was lucky enough to recently go in to a lovely, active foster home near Weston super Mare.  Bertram continues to watch, look, learn and thrive.  Further updates from his foster carer shortly I am sure.
Foster carer report -
Bertie (Bertram) is the sweetest, most loving dog and would make a wonderful addition to a family. He's good with children and other dogs, including my 3, but we haven't encountered cats yet! He does need a little house training, but given that he's spent most of his life in kennels, he does really well. He's very good on the lead and absolutely loves to play. He really deserves to go to a loving home as soon as possible.
