Breed: Labrador X

Age:  3 years

Minimum Donation:  £200.

Lexi originally arrived with us at the beginning of the summer.  She was a stray found near Brecon.  The Pound described her as a Labrador cross.  When she first arrived here, Lexi was very thin and looked more like a little whippet.  She went in to a foster home with other dogs and children, where she was very good.   Though not so good with their free ranging chickens.

Lexi was adopted by an older couple but, unfortunately, she has recently had to come back to us as one of the couple became seriously ill and they could not look after Lexi anymore.  She was very overweight and extremely unhappy to be kennelled again.  But over the last few weeks, she has turned back in to the happy, friendly, slender Lexi she was before.
Our vet aged Lexi as about three.  She is great with the other dogs here but we are told that she can be aggressive with other (particularly small) dogs - however, we have seen no signs of this ourselves and she has been a very good role model and mentor for some of the junior dogs especially.
We are looking for a kind, active, happy home with this lovely little lady.
