Breed: Lurcher
Age:  3 years

Minimum Donation: £200.

When Braveheart arrived,  he was in a terrible state with a large open wound on his neck and damage to his salivary glands. He’d been mauled by a pack of dogs. The wound healed well, but the salivary glands required an operation, which has been successful. He would like to thank everyone at Axe Valley Vets – he adores them all – for helping him make a full recovery (and for naming him – he came with no information about him).

In foster care, he has been a joy. Friendly with people (sometimes a little too friendly, but he’s learning); all he asks is for affection and exercise and he will ensure that his adopter receives the same. He is friendly with dogs; no experience of cats. As a Lurcher, he of course has a prey instinct but he can be walked off lead if sensible; he has walked through a field of sheep on lead, alert but calm. Likes the car.

He is estimated to be about 3 years old, and he weighs in at 20kg. He’s great, impossible not to like.
