Abigail

Background – Abigail arrived in our care from a breeding background and wouldn’t have had much, if any, exposure to the outside world. She has gone into foster care in a happy home environment with children, other dogs and cats.

Character – Whilst Abigail is a little nervous of new people, she is sweet and affectionate as soon as she feels safe and loves to cuddle up on the sofa.

With other dogs and cats – Abigail will have only ever lives with lots of other dogs and will need to live with at least one other dog for canine companionship and reassurance. Abigail can be a little nervous of other dogs on walks when they come running over to her. Abigail cannot live with cats as she barks and chases.

In the house –  Abigail is a relaxed girl who is quite happy to chill in a sunny spot. Living in a normal home is new to her but she has adapted well and is also happy to be left for short periods.

Type of home – Abigail would be happy in a relaxed home with fairly active people who are happy to continue her training. Abigail loves to go for walks and gets very excited when she see’s her harness and lead so a home with nice walks and adventures is a must.

Adoption – Abigail is in foster care in the BS3 area of Bristol and applicants will need to come and meet her here. Abigail is ready to move to her adoptive home from the 19th of October so please only apply if you are ready to start the process this week.
