Ace

Background – Ace has been a much loved pet but unfortunately his owner’s health means he hasn’t had the training he needs and is now looking for a new home. Unfortunately, he is struggling in kennels and is feeling miserable and stressed.

Character – Ace is one of those big dogs who just aren’t aware of their own size. Just a big baby and a very sweet boy. His favourite thing is to play in the secure field with a big stick – well more like a log really! He also likes water.

Type of home – This large lad will need someone with plenty of time and plenty of space. He is full of energy and enthusiasm which now needs channelling. He needs someone committed to his training to help this big pup become the dog he deserves to be. Ace will need someone physically fit and strong as he will pull on lead and can be a little stubborn at times. Any kids in the house would need to be older and robust as he is a bit boisterous at times. Ace has been bored and stressed in kennels and   has started to destroy his bedding – he really needs to be back in a family home.

Adoption – Ace is currently staying in our kennels near Wells so adopters will need to be willing to visit him there. As part of the adoption process applicants will need to undergo a home and vet check. Details of our adoption process can be found here https://dogsfriends.me.uk/adopting/
