Background –

Bentley arrived with us from a breeding background in very poor condition.

Character –

Bentley is a really cuddly boy – he plods over and lays on his back ready for tummy tickles! He is a firm favourite with our kennels team.

Type of home –

Bentley would like a home with someone who is happy to support him through his medical care, which will involve at-home administering of medications etc. Bentley gets on ok with other dogs, but will need a home with space away from other dogs to recover.

Health –

Bentley will need to return to our vets in Somerset for the treatment and surgery he needs – we had hoped he could have this by now but we don’t feel it is appropriate for him to recover in kennels and so need to find a home willing to take him on before this. We will be sharing all relevant information with interested applicants and will provide ongoing support over the period of this medical care.

Adopting or fostering –

Bentley is a resident at our kennels near Wells and applicants will need to come and meet him here – we are hoping for an adoptive placement for the sake of stability for Bentley, but are open to a foster placement in the meantime.
