Background –
Biscuit joined Dogs Friends when his owner became too unwell to care for him. Upon arrival he was very sad in kennels, but perked right up in foster care where he has been a very good boy.
Character –
Biscuit is a happy and friendly puppy who loves everyone! He’s very clever so he loves to learn new things. Biscuits foster family describe him as a big goofball and friendly fella who just wants to make new friends! Biscuit is also a great companion, even enjoying trips to pubs and cafe’s where he settles down to watch the world go by. Biscuits recall is improving and he is responding really well to clicker training.
Type of home –
Biscuit will likely grow into a large, very active and strong dog so will need a physically able home with someone who likes walking and exploring. Biscuit was never left at all as a puppy which means he was to being with someone all the time – therefore he will need a home with someone who can continue building up his time alone (he is now getting comfortable with being alone, but likes to have free rein of the house and a bone to chew on). Biscuit will need careful training and socialisation to ensure his lovely character and nature develops well into adulthood.
Outside the home –
Biscuit is good with other dogs and can find them very exciting, wanting to play with everyone he meets. His quiet start to life means everything is still a bit new to him but he’s already shown great signs of being able to settle in public spaces and very happy when he knows it’s walk time.
Adopting –
Biscuit is in foster care in Cheddar and applicants will need to meet him here.
