    • Must be the only dog
    • Can live with teenagers +
    • Cannot live with cats

Background: Buddy was privately rehomed by his family a few years back but due to a change in circumstances he arrived in the care of Dogs Friends recently. Buddy has certainly become used to home comforts over the years and so we are keen to find a home who can provide this for him again.

Type of home: Buddy will need an experienced and caring home – he is a strong boy so will need guardians who are physically able to manage a large dog. Buddy will need a home with a secure garden which includes high fences due to his size. Due to his previous home set up Buddy is used to being left for a few hours at a time and has not been distressed by this.

People and children: Buddy loves people and is very affectionate – he enjoys belly rubs and will even put his giant paws on you to hold hands! As Buddy was bought into the family home with teenagers, he does not have experience of young children.

Dogs and cats: Buddy was reported to be dog reactive but this has not been observed at the kennels to quite such the level expected so we believe that with careful training and patience his confidence around other dogs will grow. Buddy cannot live with cats or any small animals such as rabbits in the garden.

Location: Buddy is at our kennels near Wells.
