Buffy

BACKGROUND – Buffy has come from a breeding background, where she would have always lived in kennels with other dogs. Buffy is now in a foster home adjusting to living in a home with the help of the 2 resident dogs.

CHARACTER – Buffy is proving to be a very sweet, affectionate girl. She was very nervous when first arriving home but is making rapid progress. Buffy loves to snuggle with you on the sofa and have lots of cuddles. She really enjoys her walks and is good on the lead and off lead in safe areas. She travels well in the car. Buffy happily says hello to other dogs on her walks but can be wary of strange people. This is quickly improving and she now sometimes approaches for a quick sniff!

HEALTH – Since arriving at DF’s Buffy has been spayed and had a dental. She is otherwise fit and healthy aside from a low grade heart murmur.

TYPE OF HOME – Buffy must live with another dog/dogs. She is great with all dogs but is especially drawn to similar Spaniel types. Buffy is typical of her breed and needs an active home. A rural home would be good but not essential as long as she can be walked where its not too hectic or busy. Buffy would like a home where someone is home for the most part. Although she can be left for short periods. She hasn’t met any children yet but could possibly live with older, sensible ones. A very busy, noisy home wouldn’t suit her. She’s not been cat tested so a cat free home may be best. Buffy is such a loving , loyal girl, given time and understanding she will be a great addition to any home.
