About This Project

Cadi

Breed: Bichon Frise

Age: 4-5 years

Donation: £350

  • Must live with other dogs
  • Can live with sensible children
  • Not assessed with cats

Background – Cadi arrived in our care along with several other dogs who were handed in by their breeder. Cadi went into foster care with 3 other rescue Bichons and two very loving humans.

Character – Despite her background, Cadi loves humans and will approach with a wagging tail to ask for smooths. Cadi is really chilled out and spends much of her time relaxing on the sofa – her foster Mum says she is no trouble at all. Cadi gets super excited when it’s dinner time and is easily won over with food, but can be cheeky when humans are eating. Cadi has really enjoyed human visitors and has happily snuggled up to them.

Type of home – Dogs from some breeding backgrounds are unlikely to have experienced any of the outside world and therefore will need time to adjust – this will need to be done over a long period of time, with a great deal of patience. Cadi will need resident dogs in the home much like many ex-breeding dogs, who do not tend to cope alone.

Adopting – Cadi in foster care together in South Gloucestershire and applicants must be willing to meet her here.
