Background – Chloe came to us due to a change in circumstance for her family, and they gave us lots of useful information to help her transition into foster care.

CharacterChloe is a very friendly and affectionate Frug. She absolutely loves to play with toys and will often bring one to you when you greet her in the morning. She has enjoyed snuggling up on the sofa in her foster home, and is happy to share her space with other dogs, in fact she seems to quite like it! Chloe has a good appetite and will sit or stand on two legs for a treat.

Inside the home – Chloe has shared the foster home with two other dogs (whom she seems to respect well), and has been left overnight downstairs with the resident Labrador and been fine. She is actually very agile for her breed and can climb on to a bench / table if she so wishes, however she responds well to boundaries and training and has not really tried to do this recently. Chloe likes to snuggle up on the sofa with her family.

Outside of the home – Chloe really likes to go out, has a healthy level of energy and clearly takes pleasure in walking. She is not reactive to other dogs on the lead and happily says hello to them where possible. She travels very well in the car, and doesn’t whine or become restless when attached to the car harness.

Type of home – Chloe would really enjoy living with another dog, though would also love having all the attention of being an only dog. She previously lived with young children and  interacted very well with them, and they had a mutual love and affection for each other, they were just asked to respect her and give her a bit of space whilst she ate food.

Health – Chloe has the usual known issues associated with brachycephalic dogs, namely sensitive skin and irritated ears. Chloe currently has a daily Apoquel tablet, but we would like to help her new family come up with a plan to see if she can get to the stage where this is no longer required.

Adoption – Chloe is in foster care in Nailsea and applicants will need to come and meet her here.
