  • Can live with children
  • Can live with cats

Background – The Collie puppies arrived with us from a breeder and were in very poor condition. Luckily they have now moved into foster placements (in three groups) and some are ready to start looking for homes.

Character – The puppies personalities very significantly – some are more confident and forward, whereas others are still quiet and more reticent.

With other dogs – The puppies are all living with other dogs and will really benefit from canine companionship and other dogs to model their behaviour.

Type of home – They will need experienced homes with Collie savvy people who can invest time and effort to their ongoing training and socialisation needs, as well as people who are aware of the physical and mental enrichment needs of the breed.

Health – All of the pups have now been microchipped, had first vaccinations and have been treated for worms, and they are also getting up to healthy weights and eating good nutritious food. The puppies will be released on strict neutering contracts to be neutered when they are of an appropriate age and stage of development.

Adoption – It is really important that the puppies are matched based on their individual personalities and needs, rather than their colouring or how they look. If you are interested in offering a home to one of the puppies and are ready to proceed with the adoption process, please complete an application form. They are in foster homes in Cheddar, Weston and Nailsea.
