Breed: Shih Tzu x Poodle
DOB: 31/10/2020
Donation: £350
Background – Eva arrived in our care reported to be a pet dog, but we don’t know anything about her background and she was extremely matted and dirty when she arrived. Eva is in foster care in a loving family home with older children and is doing very well.
Character – Eva is not your typical lap-dog Shih Tzu, she is quite a character, full of energy and very puppy like.
Type of home – Eva would be best suited to an energetic home – she is always wanting to play and enjoys her walks!
Inside of the home – Eva is happy in the home environment but does need lots of stimulation, she is very much like a puppy and chews everything including people given half a change (only in play, not aggressively). Eva’s training is going well but toilet training is a work in progress so this training will need to continue. Eva likes to bark at people knocking on the door and coming in, she is obviously a terrifying guard dog!
Outside of the home – Eva is good on the lead but is wary of people and dogs until she knows they are safe! Eva does not like to go out in the rain at all – she is a fair weather walker for sure!
Adopting – Eva is in foster care in North Bristol and applicants must be willing to meet her here.
