Flash
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 10
Donation: £100
Flash is no longer available but has not actually been adopted. He has renal failure, so he will be living out his days in long term foster care with Dogs Friends. He is very happy in his foster carer’s home.
Flash is a very handsome, black, ten year old lurcher. He has recently been retired from ‘working’ and is looking for a kind, comfortable retirement home. He is very friendly, slightly deaf and loves company.
Soon after he arrived with us, he went in to our vets for a dental and to be neutered. We have his blood tested before he has his anaesthetic. Very unfortunately, they showed he had raised kidney values and was not well enough to have surgery. Further tests showed that he had a severe uti (urinary tract infection). He has been on antibiotics for the last two weeks and is going to have his bloods done again. We have our fingers crossed that the infection has cleared up now and his kidney values have returned to ‘normal’.
He is such a great, kind dog, he so deserves a lovely home. His health update asap. We will obviously get his dental and neutering done if he has not got true renal failure.
