Background –
Gino was found straying and came into our care after serving his 7 days in the warden’s kennels without being claimed.
Character –
Gino is a typical Frenchie, he is laid back, friendly, and loves people! Also in typical Frenchie style, Gino gets excited and can get a little boisterous with other dogs when off-leash, but is as good as gold on lead walks with his kennel friends.
Our kennel team say that Gino is the perfect guest at our kennels. He is such a happy and playful sweetheart and they can’t understand why this gorgeous boy hasn’t found his forever home yet.
Type of home –
Gino is a young and healthy boy who would suit a fairly active family who is looking for a new best friend! Due to his breed, he wouldn’t be looking to join your couch to 5k training runs though!
Gino would make the most wonderful new family member! He loves everyone, so we feel he could live in a home with resident children, perhaps slightly older children who won’t be bowled over at playtime and who will be able to interpret when a dog needs doggy space.
Although Gino is not aggressive towards other dogs, he can be a bit of a bully when sharing his space with them, so it would be best if he was the only dog in his new home.
Gino was introduced to cats on a recent vet check-up and showed no interest in them, so he could possibly live with cats with careful introductions.
Adopting –
Gino is currently being cared for at our kennels near Wells, Somerset, and successful applicants would need to come and meet him here.
