Background –
Gracie has been much loved by her family for many years but recently returned to the care of Dogs Friends due to the declining health of her previous adopters.
Character –
Gracie’s foster carer describes her as a joy to have around. Despite being a more mature pooch, Gracie is still full of life, is always up for a walk and loves to chase her ball around the garden. Hopefully this will help her shed those extra few pounds she’s stored up over the winter months – don’t worry Gracie, it happens to us all!
Gracie loves people and is great with the visiting 5 year old. Visiting cats, however, are less welcome in Gracie’s home and she will tell them off if they dare set paw in her garden.
Although Gracie would prefer to sleep on the bed she is making do with her own bed on the bedroom floor and sleeps through the night with no issues.
Type of home –
Although Gracie loves the company of people she would probably prefer a quieter home simply due to her age. Gracie isn’t quite ready to retire to the sofa yet so will need someone able to take her out for regular walks and ball throwing on tap would be great!
Health –
Gracie could afford to lose a few pounds, she’s already made great progress in a short amount of time.
Adopting – Gracie is currently being fostered in Cheddar and successful applicants will need to visit her here
