Background: 1 year old Hayley the Chow Chow x Sharpei arrived with us in April from a very busy home, and has landed on her feet in a multi-dog foster home where she has settled into the gang.
Temperament: Hayley is sweet natured and loves cuddles and attention, especially a tummy rub. She needs a home with someone who can be around and engage with her. Hayley can be possessive over food & toys with other dogs so she should be fed separately, although this has settled down as she has relaxed into her pack. Hayley has met lots of dogs and people since being with us and has had no issues with anybody.
Ideal home: Hayley could live as an only dog or with another confident and gentle canine role model. She doesn’t really play with other dogs or toys but will quite happily chase around with them. Hayley would like someone around to give her plenty of attention and continue with her training. She will make a very loving and loyal companion. She is not cat tested but has not shown any chasing instincts so far, nor has she met any children though we suspect she could live with older, sensible children.
