Breed: Shih Tzu
Age: 11.5 years
Donation: £300
Background – Harold arrived at Dogs Friends in a terrible state, with a much unknown history but is assumed to be from a breeding background. Harold had sadly been left with excruciating dental issues which he received emergency treatment for. Since then, he has flourished in a really wonderful foster home and has recovered well from an operation to remove a tumour from his ear.
Character – Foster Mum Kim says that Harold is very sweet natured and is growing more trusting of people. Harold is a sweet soul who would be a loving companion given time and patience.
Type of home – Harold needs a home with dedicated people who can commit to providing a calm retirement home. Harold would benefit from a quieter household and would not be well suited to a busy family home with huge amounts going on around him.
Dogs and Cats – Harold really loves his pooch pals and would massively benefit from a home with other dogs as he takes great comfort in them – he doesn’t like being by himself!
Specific needs – Harold is building up his confidence with new experiences like walking on the lead – he just needs a bit of time to adjust to the pleasures in life!
Adoption – Harold is in foster care in Langport and applicants must be ready and willing to meet him in his foster home.
