Background

Heinz was found as a stray and wasn’t claimed, so came into rescue for rehoming. We named him Heinz (like Heinz 57!) because no one is sure what he is!

Character

Heinz is a cheeky chappy – a lively and happy boy who loves his walks and his people. Heinz is quite happy to meet other dogs when he is out and about, but is currently also happy as a solo pooch – he’s not a fussy boy!

Type of home

Heinz is quite energetic and would be best suited to a more active family. Heinz is very happy to be out and about on walks, in the car and even manages crowds well so would be an ideal companion for someone who likes to take their best pal everywhere. That being said, he is okay to be left for a few hours so is happy to stay home alone if you need to pop out without him. Although he is super friendly, he is a little nippy when excited and playful so we feel he would be best suited to a home with older children as this may upset little ones.

Adopting

Heinz is in foster care in North Bristol and applicants would need to come here to meet him.
