  • Must live with other dogs
  • Could live with children
  • Cannot live with cats

Background – Jack arrived with his sister Bella and puppy Poppy. Poor Jack was in a sorry state, very matted with itchy, sore skin. He was so bad he needed his coat completely shaved off, revealing an infestation of lice and mites.
Now after treatment he is recovering well. He’s a small boy only weighing 4.5 kg

Character – Jack is proving to be a very sweet and friendly boy. Although he is a little shy of strangers.
Jack is quite a character and very energetic. He loves his walks and is good on and off lead with good recall. He travels well in the car.
Jack has been good with all the dogs he’s met and is happily living with another small dog in his foster home. Jack hasn’t met any cats face to face but does bark at any he sees at a distance.

Type of home – Jack loves human and canine company alike. He could live with sensible children.
He would do best in a calm home where someone is there for most of the time. Jack can be left for short periods as long as he’s in the company of another dog. Jack would love to live with another young, playful dog but might be a bit too bouncy for an old dog. Equally he enjoys snuggling up on the sofa with his foster mum. An active home is a must as he lives for his walks, treats and food coming a close second.

Adoption
Jack is in foster in Weston-super-Mare. He will be ready to go to his new home at the end of September after being neutered
