Jimmy is a 4-year-old medium-sized, beautiful mixed boy in need of a loving home!
Jimmy has been a total ray of sunshine in his foster home as his big personality has gradually shone through.
This boy had a difficult start in life and an unknown past that has left him very nervous, so he will need a very kind and understanding home with a covered safe space to hide in to begin with until he comes out of his shell.
Jimmy is extremely sweet, playful, funny and affectionate once he gets to know you, with many adorable and amusing quirks. He loves playing with his toys and his dog best friend and is almost totally house trained as well as harness and lead trained.
Jimmy will need a canine role model and playmate to continue helping him build his confidence, and he would love a human playmate too, although he would find young children or too many visitors a bit overwhelming. He is very human and dog friendly but will run and hide when he feels uncertain. Jimmy doesn’t mind being left alone for a few hours.
Jimmy would love a calm and quiet home where he can be given plenty of time to decompress, with an understanding family to play with him, help him develop his confidence and continue his training.
Jimmy is in foster care in Glastonbury and applicants must be willing to travel to his foster home to meet him.
