  • Can live with or without other dogs
  • Cannot live with cats
  • Can live with sensible children

Background – Jodie arrived in our care from a breeding background – she was in need of urgent vet care and has recovered very well in her loving foster home. Jodie does have a heart murmur but has had her other health problems (hernia) taken care of.

Character – Jodie has this special way of making you totally fall in love with her. Jodie is gentle, loving, cuddly and is absolutely no trouble at all. Jodie is very much a people dog and her favourite thing to do is snuggle up on the sofa.

Type of home – Jodie happily lives with other dogs (but can be a bit bossy so resident dogs should be confident and assertive when needed) but would be just fine as a solo pooch. Jodie has been assessed with children 11+ in the home and she loves to have fuss from them, but could live with kids a bit younger than this too as she has met them when out and about with absolutely no issue.

Outside of the home – Jodie loves walks and going out and in typical spaniel style is nose down the whole time (and pulling like a proper spaniel when she gets a scent1) – unless she see’s people and then she definitely wants to say hello. Therefore Jodie would love a fairly active home with people who like long walks followed by a snuggle on the sofa.

Adopting – Jodie will be in foster care in North Bristol and so applicants must be willing to visit her here.
