Breed: Jack Russell x Chihuahua
DOB: 20.07.2012
Donation: £200
Joey has had a tough year. He had to leave his home where he was much loved and had lived all his life, 10 years. Then his adopter, with whom he was settling well, became ill and was unable to keep him. He is now with a fosterer who says:
“Joey is a lovely boy. Apparently, he’s a Jack Russell cross with some Chihuahua, sleek and fit at 9.5kg. It is difficult to believe he is 10 years old – he loves to go for walks, particularly off road when he can be off lead, but he is equally at home in town. He is friendly with other dogs and with people, though you have to be careful he doesn’t go off with them! He travels well. He can be anxious and react when uncertain, but this has been a minor problem in foster where he has settled really well. We will be very sorry to see him go! He’s a great companion.”
