Background: Kiki came to us via the dog warden after being abandoned by her previous owner so we know very little of her history.
Character: Kiki is a lovely, friendly, gentle giant – she loves her cuddles! Although she can be nervous initially of new people once a treat has been given she’ll love you. Kiki has just started to come out of her shell at the kennels. She is energetic and loves bounding around the secure field flat out. She has pretty good recall but her brakes aren’t so great so you need to be prepared for 40kg of gorgeousness racing towards you at full pelt when you call her back! Not for the faint hearted!
Type of home: Kiki’s will need a family used to large dogs. She does need some work on her training – can pull on lead so her adopter needs to be fit and strong enough to manage her. Kiki is still young so can be a bit excitable so older kids only due to her size and bounciness.
Adoption: Kiki is currently staying in our kennels near Wells so adopters will need to be willing to visit her there. As part of the adoption process applicants will need to undergo a home and vet check. Details of our adoption process can be found here https://dogsfriends.me.uk/adopting/
