Kilo

Background – Kilo came to us via the dog warden as she had been abandoned by her previous owners.

Character – Kilo is a lovely, friendly, confident girl and is very people orientated. She has lots of energy and our kennels staff describe her as bouncy. Kilo loves running around in our secure fields and is another dog who (usually!) comes back when called but doesn’t have very good brakes!

Type of home – Due to her lively, energetic nature Kilo needs a home where someone is willing and able to give her lots of exercise. Although she can walk on the lead she will definitely need further training. A secure garden with high fencing is a must and a home with no small animals – including small dogs just in case. Kilo is playful so may be able to live with other similar sized dogs. Kilo has been quite vocal in kennels at times – generally when it’s busy or time for her to come out for exercise.

Adoption – Kilo is currently staying in our kennels near Wells so adopters will need to be willing to visit her there. As part of the adoption process applicants will need to undergo a home and vet check. Details of our adoption process can be found here https://dogsfriends.me.uk/adopting/
