  • Can live with other dogs
  • Can live with sensible children 3+
  • Cannot live with cats or small furries

Background – Kingsley was abandoned in a horrific state, with a hugely overgrown coat that had matted (it even had maggots in it, which shows just how much he had been neglected). We suspect that Kingsley came from a puppy farm and he was spotted being dumped along with four other dogs, all in equally bad states. We have described him as mixed breed, but in that mix we suspect a Cavalier, Poodle and Yorkshire Terrier.

Character – Kingsley is cute as a button with a delightful personality to match – everyone who meets him falls head over heels in love. Kingsley seems to bond very closely, particularly with ladies, and as soon as he knows you won’t hurt him he will cuddle up for hours on end. Kingsley is still very shy of new people and can easily be frightened, but equally doesn’t have any malice in him and is an extremely gentle soul.

Type of home and needs – Kingsley would like a calm home where he can learn about the outside world at his own pace. We can’t believe how much progress he has already made – he’s blown everyone away. Kingsley enjoys the company of other dogs greatly but does seem to be more bonded with his humans. He absolutely cannot live with cats or small furries – he particularly hates Guinea Pigs! Kingsley can live with gentle and calm children who will understand that he is a nervous little boy.

Adopting – Kingsley should be ready to go off to his new home in early July, once he has had his little plums snipped! His foster placement is near Bristol and applicants must be able to come and meet him here.
