Background –
Leo arrived in our care when his family were not able to keep him, but has always been a family dog.
Character –
Leo is a sweet, cuddly little boy who loves people. Leo is very content and settles well in the home (and at the pub!), and also travels well so is happy to go out further afield. At night he likes to sleep in with his foster family.
Type of home –
Leo enjoys two walks a day and would like a home where he can enjoy snuggles on the sofa. Leo gets on with other dogs outside of the home and happily greets with a waggy tail but doesn’t like sharing his home space with some dogs (entire males seem to be the issue) so needs to be an only dog to be on the safe side. Leo is mostly ok with cats but does occasionally have a little chase!
Health –
Leo has a heart murmur but this doesn’t affect his quality of life. Leo is currently on Vetmedin, but fortunately as he is little it doesn’t cost a huge amount. Leo will need occasional heart scans so his adopters will need to be mindful of this in terms of finances.
Adopting –
Leo is in foster care in Cheddar and applicants would need to come and meet him here.
