Breed: Miniature Schnauzer
DOB: 23/06/2020
Donation: £350
Background – Lollipop is a 3 years old, 7kg miniature schnauzer who arrived in an horribly neglected, matted state, though initially overwhelmed and scared she took no time at all settling into foster and playing with the resident dogs of a similar age and size once those nasty mats were shaved off.
Character – Lollipop is already warming to human affection and enjoying fuss instead of being frightened by it. She is an energetic young girl who loves to be outside exploring and sniffing, her tail is now constantly wagging! She loves treats so working on recall is made easier. She travels well in the car and loves to snooze on the sofa with her canine foster buddies.
Type of home – Lollipop needs a home who will be prepared to continue the work building her confidence with being handled for grooming etc which is currently very scary for her. Lollipop will also need a secure garden to safely enjoy outdoors, and absolutely must live with another dog who is friendly and playful – she cannot be a solo dog due to her past trauma and need for canine reassurance within the home.
Adoption – Lollipop is in foster care in Somerset and applicants must be willing to meet her here. Please only apply to adopt Lollipop if you meet her adoption criteria, as this has been carefully considered to meet her needs.
