Age: 5 years
Breed: Boxer
Donation: £350
Background –
Macey came to us as a surrender from a farm breeder.
Character –
Is it still early days for Macey with us, she is a nervous girl, as is to be expected given her background. Macey has shown much improvement in the company of another confident male boxer and he has helped her come out of her shell. She is incredibly affectionate with her humans and seeks assurance from them too.
Type of home –
Macey gets very excited when she sees the lead, so we know she loves her walks! For this reason and due to her size we think she would be better suited to a home with children 7 years or older.
We think Macey would need to live with other dogs to continue to improve her confidence. Due to her bouncy nature it may be best that other dogs in the household are of a siimilar size.
Health –
Macey came to us with a prolapse injury, this has been assessed by our vets and does not require treatement at this time, it is being monitored by her foster mum.
Adopting – Macey is a resident at our kennels in Wells and successful applicants will need to come and meet her here.
