Background: Maisy arrived in our care back in June after being taken in by the dog warden, and spent some time at the kennels before moving into her absolutely phenomenal foster home where she has adjusted well to being treated like a queen.

Character: Maisy is a loving and affectionate dog once she bonds with you – she will be the most loyal best friend you could ask for and whoever adopts her will never be short of a snuggle buddy. Maisy is still very nervous and needs lots of patience with someone who is willing to put in the work to earn her trust and help her progress.

Dogs and cats: Maisy will definitely need to live with other dogs as she needs the reassurance and guidance that can only be offered by a canine companion. Maisy may be able to live with cats with careful introductions.

Ideal home: Maisy would like a calm home without young children as she is uncomfortable around them, but she is a friendly girl who loves her foster human. Maisy would be best suited to a fairly active home as she enjoys a good walk with her foster brother.

Adoption: Maisy is in foster care in South Bristol and is ready to move to her new home, but will need several visits with her new family.
