  • Mally needs a friendly resident dog to show her the ropes
  • Mally can live with sensible children over 10
  • Mally still needs to lose weight

Mally is a sweet-natured and friendly ex-breeding girl. When she arrived with us, Mally was very overweight (26kg) but plenty of exercise and a sensible diet is helping her to lose the pounds, giving her a whole new lease of life! Mally currently weighs 21kg but ideally needs to be under 15kg.

Mally needs someone patient and understanding and would suit a quieter household with another well-established dog or dogs. Mally can be nervous on initially meeting people, especially men. She soon comes round and happily accepts affection and especially loves to be brushed!

Mally likes to have her own ‘safe’ space which she may or may not use. This could take the form of a covered crate or a dog bed in a quiet area.

She is still not 100% sure of the putting on of a harness process but likes getting out for a walk.

Mally absolutely loves her rugby ball and will happily play fetch!

Mally is currently in foster with other small dogs and also chickens which she completely ignores.

If you are considering applying to adopt Mally, please ensure you have thoroughly read her profile – any applications that do not meet her home specification will not be considered. Applicants must be willing to attend a meet and greet. A home check and vet reference (where applicable) will be conducted.
