Background

Mera was born and lived her whole life on a very quiet, remote Welsh Farm where she was used for breeding purposes.

Character

Mera is a happy, playful and cheerful little soul. Affectionate and curious would be a good way to describe her!

Type of home

It’s very quiet here and she’s very confident for a dog of her background but she will probably be daunted and scared of town or city life – a home in the quiet suburbs or somewhere rural would be ideal. Mera has never lived in a home with people and has no real exposure to the outside world, so she will need a home with other similar, kind dogs and understanding, empathic humans to love and nurture her. Mera will not be rehomed to a home without other dogs as she would be frightened on her own.

Health

Mera will need to come back to our vets in Somerset for a couple of routine, post-adoption appointments.

Adopting

Mera is a resident at our kennels near Wells and applicants would need to come and meet her here.
