Background –
Marley arrived with us via another rescue, and we understand that his previous family just didn’t have time for him.
Character –
Marley is a typical lively spaniel, but he is so affectionate and loves everyone – he doesn’t seem to have any nervousness around people or new things and his whole body wags when he greets you! He is very playful and loves to play ball, and also loves racing around the field and wizzing up and down the yard
Type of home –
A younger, very active home would be best for Marley – he needs plenty of both physical and mental stimulation and enrichment. Marley will need ongoing training and socialisation in his adoptive home, and does need to work on his lead walking (he will need a strong, physically able owner who can manage his walking whilst he learns to walk nicely). Marley seems comfortable around other dogs so could live with them subject to successful introduction, and could live with older, sensible children.
Health –
Marley will need to come back to our vets in Somerset (Blackford) for some post adoption vet care.
Adopting –
Marley is based at our kennels which are between Wells and Cheddar.
