Background –

Mildren came to us as a ‘retired’ ex-breeding girl and went straight into an experienced and loving foster home

Character –

Mildren was understandably nervous when she first found herself in a home environment, but she has taken to it like a duck to water and is now actively seeking human affection and the company of the other resident dogs.

She will happily greet strangers and other dogs when out and about on walks.

She is very affectionate and loves fuss & cuddling up with you, whether there’s space for her or not. She will make a great hot water bottle in the winter!

This cheeky girl loves to pinch blankets and anything soft to snuggle with, even if it’s hanging on a hook or in the washing pile. Once her contraband item is obtained…the cuddle fest is on! (see photographic evidence).
She is playful and also loves doing goofy rolls (aka sofa gymnastics), knocking all the cushions flying!

Mildred travels well in the car and walks very well on the lead.

Type of home –

Mildred has come from a fairly stressful background, so her new family will need to unuderstand that she will initially need a gentle and calm environment in order to settle. Once she has settled she is full of character!

Mildred would love to live in a home with other gentle and confident dogs so that she can keep learning how to be a happy household pet.
She is moderately active so wouldn’t need an excessively active home, but would love to pop around on adventures with her family.

Although Mildred had never lived in a home before, she has picked up her potty training very quickly, her new family will need to continue her initial regular potty training before she can be assigned ‘pro-potty’ status!

Mildren is a gentle girl whose background means she can become nervous in overstimulating environments, therefore we feel that any resident children should be calmer and older so as not to overwhelm her.
