Background – Nicholas had very sadly been left for dead in the road, before someone luckily found him just in time. It’s been quite a journey to recovery for him, but he’s done incredibly well in a lovely foster home.
Character – Nicholas is a confident, happy and very puppy like boy who loves cuddles on the sofa watching the TV, but equally loves his walks – the muddier the better! Nicholas loves humans and is also great with little ones – as long as they don’t mind jumping up and kisses!
With other dogs – Nicholas loves other dogs and is desperate to play – he was a good boy with smaller dogs on our group walk too. Nicholas can become a little overwhelmed in larger groups when everyone else is off the lead and zooming round, we suspect this is out of frustration as he wants to join in!
Type of home – Nicholas would like an active family who enjoy taking dogs out on adventures and we really feel he would thrive with another dog as he tends to get bored which can lead to mischief – he is a great mix of high energy for outings and then snuggles on the sofa afterwards. Nicholas will need a home where he can sleep near his humans (he does also like to climb onto the bed for cuddles in the morning), and where he does not need to be left alone – when he is left alone he becomes distressed and can be destructive.
Adoption – Nicholas is a resident at our kennels near Wells and applicants will need to come and meet him here.
