Nina was privately rehomed a year ago, and her owner was no longer able to care for her so she is looking for a new home.

Nina gets on really well with people, she is very affectionate and friendly and loves to give kisses. Nina would probably be too much for small children but would happily live with older, dog-confident children. Nina gets on well with some dogs and is happily living with two others, but can sometimes lunge and bark when she is wary of new dogs (she is better with the boys!).

Type of home

Nina loves her walks and would really like a home with daily adventures, and she is also good in the car so would be happy to accompany her new human to work etc. Nina does bark at the front door which previously sparked some complaints, so will need a home where this wouldn’t be an issue (and some training could be put in place). Nina can be left alone for a few hours at a time so would be ok in a home where someone needed to be out for part of the day.

Nina has arthritis in her back leg which causes her to limp after a long walk. Nina needs a monthly Librella injection – this medication costs around £80 per month, so adopters should be prepared for this, and the vets also feel she would benefit from hydrotherapy with potential additional pain management medication being required. Nina has recurring ear issues and so her adopters will need to monitor this and keep up an ear cleaning schedule.

Nina is currently living in Weston Super Mare and applicants will need to come and meet her here.
