Background – Orla came to Dogs Friends from a breeding background, and is currently in foster care in South Gloucestershire.

Character – Orla is full of beans, she is a very energetic and loving dog who is certainly making up the lack of fun in her earlier years.

Type of home – Orla would thrive in a busier household where she can get plenty of attention and hopefully some play time with another dog. Orla loves to go for walks and enjoys greeting other dogs when out and about so would love to join her new family on days out and adventures!

Dogs and cats – Orla lOVES to pay with other dogs. It may take others a while to get used to her high energy and play style so we are happy to accommodate a gentle introduction. Orla has not been cat tested, but due to her bouncy nature we feel she may not be best placed in a home with cats – she has no malice in her, but may chase as she thinks everything is a game!

Health – Orla has luxating patella and some grinding and clicking in her back leg (this certainly doesn’t slow her down) – she is currently on a daily dose of metacam to help relieve any discomfort. In the future, Orla may need surgery if our vets deem this appropriate and necessary and would be added to our referral list for when charity funds allow this to happen. This will be discussed in more detail with applicants.

Adoption – Orla is ready to move onto her adoptive home. Please ensure you have read our adopting page before applying.
