  • Oscar would prefer to live with another dog
  • Oscar can live with children aged 8+
  • Oscar has not been cat tested

Background: Oscar is an approximately 2 year old blue and tan Frenchie who came to us after being found as a stray.

Character: In foster care Oscar has shown himself to be a lively and playful boy, energetic and boisterous at times! He loves human company and to follow his foster family around, to be involved in everything by day, and snuggle up on a lap by night. He doesn’t enjoy being left alone so would benefit from a family where someone is with him most of the time and can work on training him to be happy alone.

Type of home: Oscar has shown himself to be very people and dog friendly, but has not been cat tested. We think he’d really like a doggy playmate of a similar age and nature, as he can be a little “too much” for older, more sedate dogs. He needs a reasonably active family who are happy to include him in their day to day lives. Oscar could live with sensible children aged 8+.

Health: Oscar is generally in good health. He does have grade 1 luxating patellas but this doesn’t affect him and requires no further treatment at this stage. In fact, he very much enjoys his walks!

Adoption: Oscar is in foster care in Woolavington, and applicants must be willing to meet him here. Please thoroughly read our adoption procedures (‘Adopting’ tab) before applying.
