Background

Penny was surrendered to us as a ‘retired’ breeding girl and went straight into a family foster home.

Character

This ex-breeding girl is absolutely embracing her new found freedom and fresh start in life!
If you are ready to be showered with love and affection, Penny is your girl! She absolutely loves giving and receiving cuddles. Penny is an active and playful girl who can’t get enough of her toys and is always ready for a game of fetch.

She is the type of dog who is happiest when she has company, whether that is her humans or another dog.

Penny is a snuggle bug who loves sleeping in bed with her foster mum, she loves to be as close as possible to her family at night and will not settle in a separate room, when with her family, she will happily sleep through the night.

Penny loves other dogs and is a social butterfly when out and about on walks, she has also lived with another foster dog in her foster home and loved the canine company.

When it comes to children, Penny really comes into her own, there is no place on earth where she is happier than when she is in the company of a little human.

Type of home

Penny is an active and affectionate girl who would love to join a family who are ready for a new best friend!
She travels well in the car and enjoys outings to all sorts of places, so she is ready to join you on all the family adventures!

Penny would love a canine companion to share her life with, being such a fun-loving pooch, we think she would be happiest with the company of another playful dog. She would also be fine as an only dog in a home that can give her plenty of stimulation and quality exercise.

Penny has been ok being left at home for short periods.

We would really love to see Penny go to a home with children, as this gorgeous girl truly thrives in their company. She is fairly bomb-proof and is very patient with even the most exuberant (but respectful) children!

Penny is still adjusting to the luxuries of living inside a home, so her new family will need to continue her ongoing potty training.

Penny loves everything and everyone except small furries, so her new home would need to be small furry-free.

Adopting – Penny is in a foster home in Kingswood and successful applicants will need to come and meet her here.
