Background –
Pepsi came to us as a very nervous ex breeding girl. She went straight into a foster home.
Character –
Pepsi’s foster mum describes her as an absolute treasure. When she came to us she was terrified of humans and cowered at the sight of them. Her lovely foster home has worked on her confidence and trust and she is now affectionate, loves cuddles and runs to meet her foster mum at the door she returns home! She has a cheery disposition and is so content having a loving home.
Type of home –
Pepsi would love a quiet home to live out her senior years with plenty of love and cuddles. She does not need huge amounts of excercise but loves her walks and walks well on a lead. She enjoys pottering about on slower walks so she can snuffle her way around all the smells in the big wide world.
Pepsi has not been tested around children but due to her timid and gentle nature we believe she would be fine around sensible resident or visiting children who respect her boundries and will remain gentle and calm around her.
Pepsi can live in a home with or without another calm dog, but being an ex-breeding girl we think she would love to have a canine companion.
Pepsi has not shown any interest in the cats that have crossed her path.
Health –
Pepsi has a grade 4 heart murmur that is not currently affecting her enjoyment of life. Following a heart scan, our vets have started Pepsi on heart medication which will need to be continued.
Adopting – Pepsi is currently in foster care in Rodney Stoke and successful applicants will need to come and meet her here.
