Background –
Pinky arrived with us when her owner couldn’t care for her anymore. Fortunately she has settled well into her foster placement and is a happy little soul.
Character –
Pinky is a happy and confident 5 year old Bichon that quickly falls in love with humans. She loves walkies and relaxing – the best of both worlds. Pinky can be initially weary of men but often gets over this quite quickly (within a couple of minutes) so we don’t anticipate this being an issue. Pinky’s foster Mum says “she is a really easy dog and very affectionate”.
Inside the home –
Pinky likes relaxing on the sofa, having belly rubs, and playing with her squeaky toys. She enjoys barking at passersby in the window.! Pinky copes well when left for a few hours so could manage in a home with someone who needed to pop out to work etc. At night, Pinky sleeps in bed with her foster parents which she loves, she’s a great snuggle buddy.
Outside the home –
She’s very excited to go out, she loves walks and having a runaround! Pinky will take no interest in other dogs when outside of the home and prefers human company.
Type of home –
Although Pinky is fine around other dogs (she lives peacefully with two others now), she would probably be best as a solo dog so she doesn’t have to share the attention! Pink would like a home where she can go on regular short walks, but she cannot manage really long walks or anything too athletic! She is still being toilet training so her new home must be willing to help her continue this learning.
Health –
Pinky only has three legs so can get tired a bit quicker than other dogs.
Adopting –
Pinky is in foster care in South Gloucestershire so applicants would need to come and visit her here.
