Background

Poppy was adopted from us when she was 8 weeks old, and unfortunately (and unexpectedly) returned when a member of the family didn’t bond with her.

Character

Poppy is a typical puppy – bouncy, playful and full of energy. This special little girl loves people and is a sociable dog with everyone including children.

Type of home

Poppy is an energetic dog who is full of beans and will need people who can keep up with her, Poppy would ideally go to a home with a mature, playful and well socialised resident dog, and she would really benefit from canine direction and play time. Poppy needs to get back on track with her training and so her new family should dedicate time to this, and be willing to attend puppy classes with her. Poppy is used to sleeping in with her people at night and will need to continue with this to avoid unsettling her.

Other notes

Poppy will see our vets for a check up prior to adoption, and will also be groomed beforehand (she is very overgrown but not matted).
