About This Project

Alexia

Breed: Mixed Breed (Cavachon)

Age: 13 weeks

Donation: £400

  • Can live with other dogs, and children 4+

Background: Alexia arrived in our care as an unsold puppy – this may be because she has a misaligned jaw and umbilical hernia.

Character: Alexia is a very lively and confident puppy – she is always full of beans! Alexia is friendly and affectionate and really enjoys a snuggle with other dogs and people alike.

Animals and children: Alexia is happy around dogs of all sizes and have been great with the resident rescue dogs – a Chihuahua, Lurcher, and Schnauzers – although she doesn’t know her manners with other dogs yet. Any resident dogs in the home must be neutered and well socialised. Alexia can live with children 4+ who are sensible around dogs and unphased by puppy nipping.

Ideal home: Alexia will need a home with a  with family who has time and patience to manage her training and socialisation and where she is really part of the family and included in general family life. Alexia struggles to settle at night if away from her humans and therefore will need to sleep in her humans room with them – she is just a particularly social sleeper, she also does not like to be left alone but is used to being taken out and about and is happy in cafe’s etc.

Adoption: Alexia is ready to move to her new home now, and is in foster in the BS16 area of Bristol.
