Breed: Mixed breed – 26kg
Sex: Female
Donation: £400
Background –
Queenie came to us from the pound. When she arrived we found she was chipped as a Cane Corso, but she doesn’t look much like one and is much smaller than you’d expect – so we suspect she is a lovely mixed breed.
Character –
Queenie settled well in the house and takes everything in her stride. She is very food-oriented and does like to counter-surf which is being worked on. Queenie is a clever girl and learns quickly, she’s gotten much better at dropping, leaving, and walking in her foster home. Queenie loves her walks, sniffing, and investigating. She’s happy to go to shops and is friendly with everyone she meets. She is equally happy going for a walk with her foster siblings or without them.
Type of home –
Queenie would suit a variety of homes. She enjoys the company of other dogs so can live with or without then but would like some friend(s) to meet up with if no other dog(s) in the home. She is getting used to being left alone but typically this has been in the company of her foster siblings.
Queenie has been known to be an escape artist in the early days at her foster home, so an extra safe home will be required for her!
She loves her walks and playtimes but is equally happy chilling out in a comfy spot. Queenie travels well in the car so we think she would be a good adventure buddy. Equally she makes a very good working buddy and has happily lounged whilst her foster family are working.
Adopting –
Queenie is in foster care in Bridgwater and applicants would need to come and meet her here.
