Background – Rambo arrived with a much unknown history and was described as a Bull Lurcher mix, but looks like there is some Sharpei in the mix too.
Character – Rambo has been such a good boy in our kennels over the past year in our care. When he first arrived, he was weary of new people and would bark and growl until he knew everything was ok – this seemed to be triggered by men in particular. Once he knows someone and has built up some trust, Rambo loves a cuddle and is lively and affectionate. He loves his walks and playing ball in our secure fields.
With other dogs – Rambo has been reactive to other dogs in kennels, but our staff feel this could improve with controlled socialising. Rambo’s should be the only dog in his new home for now.
Type of home – Rambo is a clever boy who loves quality excercise and stimulation. He would love an active and physically able adopter to ensure he gets the mostout of life! His new family would need to continue his training and socialising when walking near other dogs. The kennels can be an intense environment, so it would be lovely to see Rambo settled in a home where he can decompress and see what a wonderful place the world can be!
Adoption – Rambo is a resident at our kennels near Wells and applicants will need to come and meet him here.
