Breed: Bichon Frise
Age: 10 and 7 years old
Donation: £450 (pair)
Background: Raya and Ruth arrived with us from a breeding background – they were in a terrible state and absolutely traumatised. They have come on leaps and bounds in foster care and have truly thrived with gentle love and care.
Character: The girls are still shy, but will bond very well once they know they are safe with you. They are very snuggly and affectionate, with spending time with the humans on the sofa being top of their list of things to do.
Type of home: The girls currently live in a busy family home where they are receiving excellent care, but they would be more ideally suited to a home without lively children. Perhaps a retired couple, or quiet family/solo person would be a good fit for them. The girls enjoy a walk and love meeting other doggies. The home will also need to understand that the girls need time and patience on basic dog skills, such as house training.
Adoption: Raya and Ruth are in foster care in Bristol (BS16) and applicants must be willing to come and meet them here.
