  • Reggie needs an adult only home
  • Could live with another dog subject to sensible introductions

Background – Reggie arrived in our care when his family were no longer able to keep him. Reggie was obviously a very insecure and worried boy so we have spent some time with him at the kennels helping him to trust again using positive training methods.

Character – We were expecting Reggie to be a bit of a handful as owners reported issues around biting at feet etc but he’s been no trouble here at all. Reggie is a very quiet soul in his kennel but we suspect this is just because he’s sad as he really perks up on walks and loves to play with his human friends in the field here.

Type of home – Reggie responds really well to male energies and so a home with a confident but kind man would work really well for him. In the past, Reggie was reported to have some behavioural problems (biting at feet, guarding etc) but we believe that if he is given space and time he will learn to trust with the use of gentle and positive training.

Adopting – Reggie is a resident at our kennels near Wells and applicants will need to travel here to meet him.
