About This Project

Riley

Riley arrived at Dogs Friends at the tender age of 6 weeks due to a jaw deformity. After spending a few months in foster care growing older and recovering from a short illness, Riley went up for adoption. This special girl stole the hearts of many and proved to be very popular. Fortunately, Riley found a lovely home in which she is settling in great to. Read more below!

“We’ve had Riley for 4 weeks now (so she is 16 weeks old in all) and she has completely stolen our hearts, as well as our bed, sofa, and slippers… She has completed our little family and settled in so well, I’m not sure what we did with our time before she came along! She makes us laugh every day with her huge personality, whether it’s zoomies around the garden, stealing clean laundry, deliberately rolling balls under furniture, taking up more than enough space on the bed and still pushing us to either edge or demanding to be lifted onto the sofa with us so she can watch the TV too! Riley has loved getting out into the parks and woods to explore, as well as meeting new doggy friends, all of which she has taken in her stride. In the new year, she’ll start some puppy classes, which we’re sure will be hugely enjoyable for her as she is so clever and loves learning new things – we’ve got a bit of a head start on some things but it will be a test to see how she finds all the distractions! Riley had a brilliant start in her foster home and we can’t thank Dogs Friends enough for the incredible work they do, making sure that we were right for Riley and setting her up for success with us.”
