Background

Robbie was surrendered to us from a breeder as an unsold puppy. He went straight into one of our regular foster homes with some canine pals.

Character

Robbie is very affectionate, just loves to be touching you. He is still young, not even 1 year old, and so he loves to play! He is really enjoying learning all about the outside world, sniffing about on walks, learning tricks and recently had his first set of zoomies!
He is still a bit nervous of a few things like loud noises and men wearing hats but he is gaining confidence by the day. He loves his walks and walks well on his lead although he is still young and building up his fitness levels.

Type of home

This handsome young chap is a sensitive soul and would be best suited to a calm but active family. He is a fantastic, well behaved little blank canvas and has the potential to be the most wonderful companion to a family who is ready to put the training required with young dogs.

He is a little nervous of children but shows interest in them so may be happy to live with gentle, dog -savvy and respectful older children.

Robbie really thrives in the company of other balanced dogs and we feel he would be most suited to a home where he would have a consistent canine pal to continue showing how to be a confident dog! We don’t feel he would cope well as a solo dog.

He has picked up his toilet training really quickly and will soon be a potty-pro, although he is still young and his new family will need to continue his gentle training with this while settles into his new home.

Robbie travels well in the car and can also be left at home for short periods, as long as he has his other doggy pals with him!

Adopting

Robbie is in foster care in Clevedon and successful applicants would need to come and meet him here.
