BACKGROUND – Roscoe has come from a breeding background. He was lucky enough to go straight into a foster home and is now ready to find his forever home.
CHARACTER – Roscoe was very nervous when he first arrived at DF’s but since being in a foster home, he has learned the benefits of living in a home. His foster parents say Roscoe is a cheeky little chap who loves other dogs and cuddling up on the sofa. Roscoe is walking well on the lead and travels with no problems in the car. He is sharing with another little cavalier and gets on well with her. Roscoe has come a long way from the scared boy he first was but is still little wary of strangers so is looking for an understanding Cav loving home to bring out his full potential.
HEALTH – Roscoe is very fit and active but does have a low-grade heart murmur. This requires no medication and is not affecting him in any way.
TYPE OF HOME – Roscoe will need to go to a home with another dog/s. He especially loves other Cavaliers. A calm quiet home is a must, he may be able to live with sensible teenagers but he would find young children too worrying. It would be best if someone was home for most of the time as he does love his human company. Roscoe has not been cat tested but totally ignores his foster Mum’s chickens.
ADOPTING – Roscoe is in foster care in the BS16 area of South Gloucestershire and applicants will need to meet him here.
